Family
My beautiful wife Gail grew up in the Philadelphia area and much of her family still lives close by. Gail is my best friend. We live in Washington Crossing PA. We really like this area, having moved back 3 years following our first residency here. Bucks County is one of the best places to live in the country.
Michele and Steve, our daughter and son-in-law, live with Chris, our precious grandson, in Quakertown PA, about 45 minutes from us. Alex, our son, attends Oklahoma State University in Stillwater OK, majoring in Sports Media. We are very proud of all of them.
I was born in South Dakota, and attended high school and college in Oklahoma. My career has taken us to Texas, Colorado, California, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. I have two brothers and two sisters, spread out all over the country; including Alaska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Texas. My dad lives with my step-mother in South Dakota.
Work
I have the honor of working at Clearview Cinemas since 2002. As General Manager/SVP, I am responsible for overseeing the strategy development and execution, budget management, and daily operation of the company. I work with a great team who are doing wonderful things. We operate 47 theatres with 242 screens in the New York metropolitan area, including the historic Ziegfeld Theatre. Our parent company is Cablevision Systems.
Before that, I had 26 great years with General Cinema Theatres – then the largest theatre circuit in the country. I worked on the operations team for a majority of my time there, with my last position being Director of National Operations.
I currently serve as President of NATO of New York, an industry trade organization that supports issues important to theatre owners and promotes our industry in New York State.
